Meet Dr. Darlene

Entrepreneur,  CEO, Evangelist, author, mom, wife, motivational speaker and believer

Dr. Darlene Allen Nichols is the CEO of DAN Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit organization and the owner of the DAN CARE Training and Development Center located on Chicago's South Side.   Her organizations provide comprehensive learning and training conducive for growth, personal development and the empowerment of women, youth and young adults.  Dr. Nichols owns and operates the Allen Referral Agency where she places musicians, and she serves as a Professional Business Consultant  executing global training sessions for C-suite clientele, Senior Pastors and Fortune 100 organizations and she is employed as the Senior Director of Ministerial Development for New Life Covenant Church in Chicago Illinois under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah.

Dr. Nichols has an extensive history working within corporate America in tandem with serving the non-profit sector.  Her corporate and entrepreneurial background has afforded her opportunities to minister across the globe.  Her reach extends far beyond that of local dimensions; she has an international presence and has provided keynote addresses for prisons, youth camps, women’s shelters and the school system in Belize.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Master’s in Business Management, both from DePaul University; and a PhD in Leadership and Organizational Management from Capella University. Dr. Darlene has been happily married to Eugene Nichols, Jr. since 1996; together they have two sons, Eugene Nichols, III affectionately known as EJ, and Austin.
